I want to share with you one of my basics in my pantry: Granola crunchy buckwheat. It is easy to make and I am convinced it will surprise you and when you finish it you will want more!
A sweet granola, but unsweetened, sweetened with rice syrup, cereals such as oats and buckwheat, seeds, dried fruits and spiced with cinnamon and cardamom.
Will enjoy a highly nutritive, energetic and delicious breakfast. Is delicious accompanied with yogurt, non dairy milk or added to your smoothies.
Dry ingredients:
- 2 cups oats
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 3/4 cup buckwheat
- 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
Wet ingredents:
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup rice syrup (or any other healthy sweetener maple syrup, honey…)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup coconut flakes
Method:
- Combine all except coconut flakes in a bowl.
- Preheat oven to 160 C (325 F).
- Put the buckwheat, almonds, sunflower and sesame seeds on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle the species, salt, coconut oil and rice syrup over the top. Thoroughly stir everything together with the help of a spoon or a spatula. Spread on the baking sheet and bake until toasted and lightly browned, stirring halfway through, about 20 minutes total. Add the coconut flakes and bake for 3 minutes more.Let cool outside. Enjoy!
Notes:
Keep it in an airtight container.
You can add some dried fruits.
Is delicious for breakfast with almond milk or any other non-dairy milk. You can add to your smoothies like a topping.
