Today I bring you homemade applesauce with ginger, a traditional sweet seasoned with this special root.
This recipe is healthy, nutritious and economic.
The applesauce is ideal cause you can store some days in the fridge and you can eat for breakfast or as a snack in the morning or in the afternoon.

Time: 25 minutes
- 4 apples, peeled
- 2 tbsp rice or maple syrup (or any other healthy sweetener)
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 cup of water
- Place all the ingredients in a pot and cook in a slow heat for 20 minutes. Cook until the apples are tender.Serve and enjoy!
